The short version
Your files never leave your device. Every PDF operation on OneClickPDF runs 100% in your browser using JavaScript. We never upload, store, or transmit your files to any server.
File processing
All PDF manipulation (signing, splitting, merging, compressing, cropping, rotating, redacting, etc.) is performed client-side in your web browser. Your files are loaded into browser memory, processed, and the result is downloaded directly to your device. At no point are your files sent to our servers or any third-party service.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate page view data. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect personal information. It records only page views and basic performance metrics.
Local storage
Some features (such as saved signatures) use your browser's localStorage to persist data between sessions. This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Cookies
OneClickPDF does not set any cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any other type of cookie.
Mobile signature feature
Our Sign PDF tool offers an optional "Sign from Phone" feature that lets you draw a signature on your mobile device and transfer it to your desktop session. When you use this feature, a temporary session is created on our server (hosted via Upstash Redis) that stores your signature image for a maximum of 10 minutes. This data is automatically deleted after expiry. No other data — including your PDF file — is ever sent to the server. If you prefer not to use this feature, you can draw, type, or upload your signature directly on your desktop and no server communication will occur.
Third-party services
We use Vercel for hosting and analytics, and Upstash for temporary session storage (used only by the mobile signature feature). Vercel's privacy policy can be found at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
No account required
OneClickPDF does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use any of our tools.
